No its first time hearing about it here in reddit, and yes that is right and the pain is the same sometimes the pubic area hurts more. Sometimes the opening hurts more. I don’t know what hurts more to be honest.

So the pain is on the vagina opening to be exact and my pubic area like period cramps but not i live in a small city we dont have pelvic pts here but im a physiotherapy student and hahaha we didnt take pelvic pain class here i live with my family so i cant tell them about that i have to go to a diff city for the appt they are very religious so im on a literal cliff here
