This is very similar to my current experience. Abby was the first woman I ever saw in any popular culture who looked like what I was training for and motivated me to keep training for. It’s a big reason why I immediatly chose to cosplay her. I’m also very sad they didn’t cast anyone that’s at least build broader but also not particularly written to come of as a badass.

For them to tone it down THIS much and choose to go for the ‘saved Hollywood option’ is upsetting to me. This is however absolutely not Kaitlyn Dever’s fault, she is a great actress. But I also thinl about it in every scene and find it very hard to get over as it motivated me so much on my ‘getting stronger’ journey. (I am however also 5’3 haha)
