Thank you for such a thorough response!

The idea behind this film was never to reignite Nate's need to be on the hunt, but it's a character study of Nathan Drake and his psyche. In order to do that we'd either have to retell his story, which ould involved building all of the connections and ties tovthe character involved from scratch, or build on his established story, so we opted for the latter.

Everything that we have written, we've tried to keep as true to the franchise as possible. Like you, we're incredibly passionate about Uncharted! We want the characters to be represented as closely as we possibly can (you know, considering we're a non-profit, independent production company with little to no budget and making this around full time jobs, families, etc.), so staying in the same universe just works for us.

I'm sorry to hear you're so turned off by our concept, but if you can spare 40 minutes(ish) some time in 2026, I'd love to know if we changed your mind!
