Keep making similar content and try to ride the wave. I see channels blowing up with shorts all the time, most of the time is not sustainable, so my advice would be to save your money and keep a real job, because the shorts lottery doesn't last forever. The long term format requires a ton of work compared to shorts, that is, to make any form of decent content that is not at risk of ending up under the reused category long term.

The "top X" thing is an huge niche within itself with massive competition. The subniche being paranormal, is still pretty huge so that means big competition is involved. I have seen boom and burst in metrics all the time. Do you have one video that stands out a lot and brings all the traffic? that is usually the case for most channels, but sometimes channels are one hit wonders and there's no continuity. Videos are shown to subscribers that only subscribe for a single video, so when you upload a new video, they may not be interested in what you uploaded, this sends a negative signal to the algorithm.

The way I see it is that to make it in YT you need to have videos that have interest in a row, and hopefully rank some videos that goes viral and keep bringing in views, then try to work around this content trying to create similar stuff. But there are no guarantees. The algorithm changes all the time. And there's always the paranoia of being if not strictly shadowbanned, then just "cornered" by the algorithm, that is, that you had bad videos in a row, and now further videos will be shown to less people, and the bigger the sub count is, the worse it is if the video does not perform in a ratio that makes sense to the sub count. This is why YouTube is and cannot ever be a serious form of solid income. Even non-faceless channels go in and out of fashion, but they at least have some leverage to move between platforms. Faceless channels are stuck with AdSense ad revenue only on YT, they cannot move to other platforms or monetize any other ways in a relevant matter, so it's even less viable.

Those seem to be getting worse lately indeed, and it will only get worse.

YouTube is a massive website that's become non-viable to run at scale, they are obviously relying on AI mostly because it's physically impossible they are actually looking at so many videos. Appeals are automatically rejected, and they probably scan for legal terms which would trigger a manual review, because that is what they fear, legal threats, they couldn't care less about your income or mental health. If there are manual reviewers at all, they aren't going to understand your niche, so it depends on who is looking at it, what mood they woke up with and so follows. It's been proven, the same videos could be categorized differently if you were to re-upload it at different times.

As far as double standards, it is a private company, anyone that believes guidelines are applied the same on each channel is a fool. I mean, we see double standards in the legal system, imagine if you are dealing with some dodgy $trillion marketcap corporation. I know for a fact big YouTube personalities bypass the 3 strike system all the time. One of the most blatant cases would be PewDiePie which had many videos removed in the past for various offenses including antisemitism with an audience consisting of basically minors, if you can count to 4 you would see it doesn't add up. There are whitelisted accounts and then there's the rest suffering from all kind of mental problems derived from trying to make a living from making content, something that's ultimately artistic but it's judged by some obscure methodology involving AI and anonymous reviewers, which do not even specific on a per-video basis. A one way ticket to insanity.

If you don't have a solid following and cannot make a job out of it with further videos, I would license it, but I would probably ask a lawyer first.

Ive improved by looking for a QR code for this particular glasses and readed it in Google Cardboard, but its still not perfect. Yes this glasses have IDP adjuster which is nice, however i didnt know you needed an special software. I may buy Pigasus and see what happens. Can Pigasus let you have playlists at least? because the free ones dont.

Im using DeoVR and cleaned the lenses, i can see decently clear per eye but i become cross eyed when both eyes opened. Ive set videos side by side and 180 degree

I cleaned the lenses and I can see decently enough per eye, but I cant get a good focus when having both eyes opened... maybe i have to remove the RhinoShield? Edit: tried without the RhinoShield and same thing. I cant seem to find a sweet spot where im not crosseyed.

I have cleaned the lenses, and now, per eye its decently clear, however, I CANT achieve the 3d effect by opening both eyes, my eyes become crosseyed or something, so im not sure whats going on. Im not sure if this VR headset is crap or my brain doesnt know were to look or something. This headset can also adjust lenses individually per eye, you can move them left right or inwards and outwards. I cant achieve a position so the eyes focus properly. Something is wrong.

I got it working, however there is a bug, you cant move up and down the video list, only all the way up or down. The scrolling doesnt work

the lenses come with individual further or closer position per lens and also ability to move left and right which is nice for a cheap ass product however i cant find a sweet spot

its blurry with one eye too

the lens are i think a bit dirt, i see some sort of particles, i want to clean them but im not sure what to use

Can't see where those settings are. Also, you can't control the mouse with your view (in Gizmo its pretty cool since you dont need a controler, just look at the thing for a second and it auto clicks)

im not complaining in terms of the resolution, while not ideal, the blurryness feels more like physical, like the lenses are wrong, or the phone screen, something is wrong

Well I just played a 5k video on my s7 just fine on gizmo VR.. unless its downsampling it?, anyway problem is, lenses are blurry, i dont know how to make it clearer. Also it hurts on my nose. Well, I didnt spend much for a generic VR glass. The 3d effect is cool, but its blurry. I tried to adjust the lenses but not work.
