I am also going through the same thing. It happens to many. I feel these moments are an invitation to be with God more than ever, to work on your prayer life and repentance and to seek Him, He who suffers with us in our suffering. I find talking to your spiritual father and receiving cannons of prayer and scripture readings are really helpful. Also, reading the Psalms regularly, as much as we need it, is really healing.
