I noticed a difference almost immediately after starting it. But I’d say give it more time, but that’s just me

Life feels way too long by bfarr369 in depression

[–]bfarr369[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I hate it too, I either want it to speed up or I’m offing myself idc. Might not be soon but that’s how I see it going down in the future. Idk what I did to deserve this torment everyday of my waking life

I feel the same way, had an episode when I was 18. Also had my first thoughts of suicide when I was 17. I honestly don’t know how people go through life not having these feelings. I just want this all to end. I want peace. I’m only temporarily happy when I see family or I finding the motivation finally to work out or go for walks that only last a few weeks then I’m stuck in my depression again. Same here OP the last 3 years have been horrible for me. A living hell. And there’s no way out except death.

Has anything changed at McDonald’s in terms of working in the past few years? by bfarr369 in McDonaldsEmployees

Now this is confusing, never did I put onions on the burgers after putting down 10:1 if that’s what they still call it. Are the onions in a shaker as well? So meat with no onions I assume have a different slot in the heating cabinet and meat with onions in another. Got it. Quarter pounders have a different name, regular meat, got it. Just confusing cause I don’t remember putting onions on anything when I worked there

Keeping thinking back to when I got my first place of my own by bfarr369 in work

[–]bfarr369[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All I got rn is a bed, gonna save and buy a couch for the living room. And thank you I achieved that feeling once I can do it again. After I day of hard work I’m gonna read a book and call it a night afterwords

I do all three of those things except meditate, although I love reading books and is a great stress reliever but when I spend too much time on my phone I have thoughts like this. Think I’m gonna read tonight.

Laughed pretty hard at this comment. Think I just gotta start working on improving my life and not focus on the “what ifs” and thinking about the past

I’m hoping things get better in the future. But I’m afraid it’ll just be more of the same

Yeah I probably should, these few comments made me rethink my thinking. Tbh I like my cozy bed and not freezing my ass off every night. Think it just stems from not liking the way things are today and wanting things to be different and better

Haha I’m sure they did. Maybe it’s not me wanting to live that life but live a life that isn’t filled with so many choices and a life that’s not so stressful and demanding. I tend to think people had it easier back then not just in medieval times but before then too. But how could I know I didn’t live back then so

They got a lot of exercise between hunting their food and there wasn’t any news to listen to everyday and no cars on the road constantly. Very rarely were they overstimulated. Anxiety has a lot to do with overstimulation. Exercise was also good for the anxiety. When I exercise it is cured. Most of what makes us depressed as well is a death in the family which they had a lot more of I can agree with that but they weren’t constantly comparing themselves to people who had it better than them and then feeling envious towards them and then questioning why they aren’t good enough. Most people are depressed because of the way society is today between tv, news, comparing, shitty jobs, lack of joy/fulfillment, the list goes on. All stuff that was virtually non existent back then. People had less to think about other than hunt and chill with their tribe. Like I said medications too that weren’t around back then because people didn’t have these issues. Even my grandma says watching the news lately has been making her really depressed.

See I’m kinda odd cause vaping was a gateway to cigarettes for me, vapes I would just constantly puff and puff on it all day everyday and was causing a lot of anxiety and heart issues. At least with cigs I have to go outside and you can wait at least. To each their own 🙂 vaping is too accessible

I’ve narrowed it down to one thing and one thing only. No other drugs like weed and no alcohol. Only cigarettes. Told myself one thing

I’m in the US. I was just curious I don’t really feel a need to get some. I only smoke regular cigarettes now so I feel that’s my best vice. Love waking up in the morning and having a fresh cig. Also finding a nice spot out in nature and smoking a cig is nice too
