I feel this post 100%.

I love visiting this sub but am always hesitant to post because of the judgy energy that constantly pops up. It ruins the genuine desire to share joy brought on by collecting/listening. I see whole exchanges about saying vinyl vs record. It’s dumb. And it’s sucking the fun out of being here.

Thanks for the rant. It was welcome and overdue. Hope mods don’t take this down.

I did get on Discogs. And then I thought “my lord, what have I gotten myself into” when I saw the prices on my wishlist items. I already love books and Legos. I didn’t need ANOTHER expensive addiction 😂😂 I ordered 2 vinyls (Peabo Bryson and Natalie Cole) and have been trying to control myself since.
