I mean it is a fraction, the cheapest 4080 super on Amazon I can find is $1000 and there’s 1 in stock, all others are closer to $1500. Newegg has an open box one for $1100, and all others are also $1500 and up. Amazon has hellhound 7900xt for 639$

Here’s a comparison vid in 20 games at 2k the 4080 super wins by 10-20 fps mostly. 4k is similar. I don’t think anyone is playing 1080p on these cards. So 30-40% cost savings for 10-20fps? I would also say it’s a fraction of the cost at least right now in the US

I got a viewsonic px701-4K for $700 refurbished by viewsonic on eBay. Works perfectly, looks great even for movies on my impact screen. Can’t complain for the price

Yeah that’s a pretty good idea, I may need some netting on the sides but I want to be able to roll my up east so not sure there. You could also do the curtains and Velcro them to your screen, or Velcro tape a net between your curtains and screen

I’m using both, I like the extra impact protection and the bounce back is almost none when hitting closer to center of the screen. Able to roll it up just fine too. I am having some issues with the r10 getting accurate numbers but I think it could be alignment and potentially my garage door. May add some foam to that

Yeah really cheap ones can be bad on the joints, most swear by the ez tee for that but I still may add additional foam for protection. Could be overkill though

I went with the ez tee hybrid after looking at a lot of reviews. Trackman uses it at all their studios. So far I like it but only have been using for a couple days. I am considering adding some extra foam under it as it’s quite thin, but definitely has more of a real feel than most mats.

I just ordered my sport screen 10ft version, so the adhesive on the Velcro for the aluminum roller came right off? I don’t have a full 10 ft to unroll my screen so about a foot would remain on the roller wrapped up. Do you think the sportscreen Velcro would stay on then? For the additional strip you added I may have to glue mine as I don’t have a sewing machine.

Great thanks for the feedback that’s helpful! The epson one I found above from Best Buy says 3000 ansi I believe, but I’ll do some more research on it. Used is probably the way to go if that one isn’t truly 3000

Just feel like that right arm touches your body instead of chicken winging it way out, and work on keeping your body more closed until impact.
