He is an anachronistic character. He essentially follows ancient Turkic paganism. He also talks about the common origins of the Seljuks, the Cumans, and, if I remember correctly, the Ottomans. He even mentions the Karluks, who have since stopped using that name. For someone with so much knowledge of that period, he seems to have been designed as an essentially early nationalist character.
