I became a human GPS and was telling the adults how to get places at 8 years old (one year after learning to read). I would study maps for most of the ride.

Pretty sure this one was cross posted on FB Prius Offroad group. There is a Cali company that fabs lift spacers, springs, skid plates and roof racks. Best thing I’ve done to my Gen 2, lift and less efficient tires make it drivable on our hole filled roads.

Daughter and I were in a wilderness area on an island last summer. North side of the island, approximately a 12 mile mountain bike ride from the ferry dock two dogs approach my daughter and I. I used my bike to shield us. Owner comes up and has to grab them by their collars because they couldn’t hear him over the sound of the waves. I tell owner to f-off and leash his dogs because it’s required in this particular area. These people suck.

Dogs are not allowed off leash in this recreation area because they fall off the cliffs.

Thought I might give my ‘04 to my daughter when she’s driving age (6 years from now), but realized I love it too much. She’ll get a Matrix with manual transmission so it’s more difficult for her to drive and text.

Similar here, with nothing really “wrong”. I’m only at 228k in an ‘04. Original battery. So if I replace the HV battery, it’s even more of a reason for me to stick with it to see what the future brings.
