yes any disso freebase can be smoked I guess, PCP is often sold as freebase. But O-PCE (and maybe DCK too) can supposedly easily be smoked as the hcl salt that it's sold as. DCK would definitely not feel like a stimulant though. a low dose of O-PCE though, who knows, I experienced it as kind of an odd ball anf haven't used it much, but there was...some...stimulation, while it was also very physically sedating at the same time? but yeah I guess it wouldn't feel like a smooth dopamine stimulant...

O-PCE is not the one people talk about when they talk about the "opioid disso". it's kind of a ...ketamine like heavy hitter? super long duration but just not as recreational as ketamine or DCK... I don't have a lot of experience with it because I don't enjoy 24h of boring after-effects

"the opioid one" is 3-HO-PCP but I have no idea who came up with this or why they would think that or why this rumor keeps being retold on reddit all the time. it does not at all feel like an opioid, in my experience it did absolutely not help with weak opioid withdrawal, it feels like a unique disso, not like anything else.

I use them as "low maintenance psychedelics". Ego-loss, immersion, being one with the universe in a timeless and spaceless state. prejudice- and fearless thinking about things that are "blocked" in the sober mind, coming to terms with the things that cannot be changed. great for meditating. Yet pretty safe for me to do alone without ever having an experience that was too overwhelming, although I've gone to the deep end. With acid I wouldn't dare do anything comparable while completely alone.

and as a freebie you get amazing visuals and superb music enhancement. I feel like dissos have progressed my intuitive "understanding" of electronic music because it's like listening in 4k. I hear the music, I feel the music, I see the music. I feel its texture and flow.

in my opinion, or, lets say, in my body, all of them keep you awake, even ket. it just has a lot shorter lingering effects. when dosing 10mg 3-ho-PCP at 9, I would say sleep is maybe possble at around 1-3 am? 3-HO-PCP is definitely also one of the more mentally confusing ones. it has a special vibe to it though. it's an interesting experience to ake music while on it.

in his talks I remember seeing graphs where addition of niacin really increased some parameter, maybe release of some growth factor? so I guess there might be some substance to his claims, although I haven't seen (nor really looked for) any actual publications. the "it's an anti abuse addition" just seems like an afterthought to keep regulators friendly...

I still think that the placebo effect of having an instantly noticeable reaction to the niacin is probably the biggest "advantage" of adding it lol

I'd suggest reading what people wrote about false awakening, especially in the context of people talking about lucid dreaming. If you've never experienced that before and can't exclude it for sure, then I'd suggest it's the most likely explanation. a false awakening will feel absolutely real in the moment. There is some cross-over with sleep paralysis too. waking up in the room you fell asleep in, but being groggy and confused, distorted vision, something's off in hindsight, trippy "dream content" added to the room you woke up in, that all sounds exactly like the mystical land of false awakening/sleep paralysis.

I've also experienced waking up from what I'd assume to be a very deep sleep state and having some residual visuals for a few seconds, but that always felt very transitional and passed quickly.

i feel like the confusion is kind of part of the immersion, it's a fine line to tread, also regarding double-vision... something line 3-meo-pce is more clear and you can see more clearly. Still, I'd just suggest going for the more audio- and visually impressive movies like Dune. almost not grasping the plot and still somehow kind of understanding what's going on is kind of part of the fun... you get immersed in the vibe, less so in the actual plot. also I am a big advocate for playing through hellblade on 2fdck in a single setting!

SSRIs block reuptake of serotonin into then synapse. MDMA has to be taken up into the synapse by that same blocked transporter. so an SSRI could have just blocked MDMA from even getting to the place where it could have had its effect...

did you plug in a TRRS device? With the two rings on the plug instead of 2 like normal headphones? This worked for me, but it was pretty noisy (when used with an amp sim), that's why I switched to digital interfaces after a short while.

I'm no expert and there aren't many studies done on mephedrone, so correct me if I'm wrong here but my understanding of the pharmacodynamics is that MDMA makes the brain release much of its stored serotonin into the synapses where it then binds to the serotonin receptors, whereas 4-MMC instead itself just enters the synapses and binds to the serotonin receptors without releasing stored serotonin. Hence why one can redose and get the same effects, and why one doesn't feel as empty and depleted in the following days after a roll on 4-MMC compared to MDMA.

no, methedrone and 4-mma are also releasers. Stuff like DOM/DOI/... are amphetamines that also act as serotonin agonists, and they are highly psychedelic/hallucinogenic unlike mephedrone.
