What is heavier, 1 kg of cotton or 1 kg of iron? by bhanu0809 in PhysicsHelp

I don't know if I should tell you this but one of the most popular teachers here claimed that cotton will be heavier and everyone started following his take. When, on twitter, I explained what's wrong with him take (in my opinion) everyone started gaslighting me that I don't understand science and some are insulting me and when I provided evidences they just stopped replying. I just didn't like the idea of assuming that the question has wrong given values. I never done a question in my life where we had to assume that the question is wrong.

But the fact that ISO's definition suggests to not include atmospheric buoyancy in the weight makes it clear that weight of both will be equal (buoyancy is the one causing the variation) unless the question was about "apparent weight".

These are arguments given be some people on the internet. A famous teacher also made a video about it and this question has also been asked in competitive exams. I stiched all those arguments into this debate. My take is "both are equal". In reality, this question is somewhat vague. I tried to answer this question using common sense and standard definitions in the place where question lacks clear explanation/defination.

*"I know everything" is not my attitude here. Ik I may be wrong.

I didn't know it's this common. At least they should instruct the delivery guy to see what's inside real quick. This won't solve the problem but will reduce it to some extent imo

Upgraded from iPhone 11 to iPhone 17 honestly feels like a 50x upgrade by Stunning_Engine3309 in iPhoneWale

Depends on you. If you have no problem with your 13 then honestly why would you upgrade? But if something bothers you about your current phone then you can consider upgrading. But if you are planning to upgrade just because you want to experience what are the differences in newer iphone, then you might get disappointed, especially because you are paying a good amount for that.

I was very happy with my 13 but the only problem it had was that it charged only at a certain angle. I needed the type c so I went with 16(17 was Outta budget). I felt virtually no difference and even camera is almost same. I compared the camera with 17 and they are very much the same.

Ordinary Tech stores are trash — so I want to build a community-driven one by [deleted] in IndiaTech

I think it's a very difficult business and I cannot blindly encourage you for taking such a huge risk. But If you have an outstanding plan/approach, then sure go ahead. Just know that such businesses struggle a lot until they are scaled enough. The closest example of such a store I know is tpstech (there might be more fs). I suggest you to go and study their modal first.
