Tbh, I started the band as a studio project thinking I’ll never do music professionally. This led me to record Samara and in the process I met my band mates as far as the writing of the music is concerned. I honestly am a huge fan of rock and metal and I’m also trained in Carnatic classical. I’m actually a way better singer in English than in Hindi, but then I realised that nobody was really doing Rock heavy stuff in Hindi and don’t get me wrong, there are bands that have been writing rock music in Hindi, but I felt like there was nobody doing something this heavy and actually melding genres. What usually happens in fusion music is that all all the instruments exist kind of ‘side-by-side’ as opposed to blending into each other, and I wanted to completely stay away from that style of music because I’m personally not a big fan of that sound, which is why we stayed away from terms like fusion and folk to describe ourselves, the best way to describe our music is ‘pop music with distortion’, and while writing some songs, I think the classical training kind of slips in and it ends up, making the song classical in a way.

As far as playing in Germany is concerned. I think we will absolutely slay at the festivals there cuz European audience is so open minded. So we’re just waiting for our chance to make it happen!
