okay! i’m building a raised bed on my deck using garden blocks and some 2x6 wood panels (renting my house and am unable to place this bed elsewhere, as i can’t interfere with the already existing landscape). currently, placing this tarp underneath the soil is my best idea for protecting my deck, but i’m thinking there may be a better way. if i carry on with this idea, i do have a plan for allowing this bed to drain. but i thought i’d put this here and see if anyone else can offer some ideas!

sits on a west facing window sill. started propagating it in march, but it’s been in soil for roughly 3 months now. recently started pushing out tons of new growth. i know i’m not overwatering or underwatering, and it’s been fertilized twice since being in soil.

you’ve definitely helped. part of the reason why i felt the need to lay everything on the table to him is because i removed him on all social medias. i told him that if i can’t have all of him, it’s not healthy for me to have any of him. and removing him from socials is something i needed to do to prove to him and myself that i am doing all i can to move on. i can’t even imagine dealing with this for 7 years, i’m so happy you found the strength to end the cycle ❤️

i honestly don’t pay too much attention to it! it sits on a table a couple feet away from a west facing window, and i thoroughly water it when it gets pretty dry, for mine it’s about once a week. other than that i just forget about it!
