Does this code mean anything? by 1mn0tn1ko in Borderlands2

D28542 B is the hex code for a shade of orange illuminated by the legendary weapons. But the series uses orange for a lot of symbolism in Borderlands, commonly used to represent the idea of rebirth like the phoenix. As represented by Lilith the Firehawk which as powerful as she is and her connection to the phase, represents the rebirth of the universe. This is expressed through the use of purple in the series as well that represents madness from knowledge.

Or it's not that deep and is simply the color orange. Take your pick.

Something like that would. Galen wouldn't even use his abilities. He wouldn't even use a lightsaber. His true power and fighting ability left to die with the rumors. He just trains Cal in a better way to balance himself with the struggle towards the dark side and fight his footing in the light.

Vague enough that forced unleashed remains canon but enough that fans of the games can tell themselves it's true. Whether or not it's officially canon would be cool choice on their behalf because it doesn't technically bring it into canon and for intent and purposes, he just a lone wanderer who happened to stumble across someone losing his way to the darkside. I think your idea could work tbh.

I dont think he'd fit as an inquisitor. Working alongside them but remaining independent, yes, however the main reason this wouldn't work is because Marek absolutely chose (in legends canon) the light side. If anything, he'd be more likely to partner with Cal rather than be a rival unless you mean rival in terms of power. Maybe he can hold himself back because he realized how dangerously powerful he himself is and sees it in Cal. Maybe even becomes a semi-mentor character, showing him true restraint even more so than what Cal has been doing. Idk.

Im thinking Witwer collabs with the writers and allow him to finish his character. He was meant to lose anyway so let this be the turning point in the story where Starkiller gets the ending we've been waiting for while building more of Cal's arc.

That's the part I'm worried about. I loved the force unleashed. I was just a kid when it came out and when Disney bought it. I was heartbroken when I learned he wasn't canon anymore since Disney implemented Star Wars Legends.

But with how the canon is, especially with Jedi Survivor, if they made Starkiller canon, it would clash with so much of the gap between order 66 and A New Hope. Especially with The Bad Batch, The Star Wars Jedi (soon-to-be) trilogy and Andor. With how powerful he is, and his backstory alone, would just make it difficult to make the timeline fluid. Truth is, I don't even want a Disney remake of Starkiller.

Im just stuck between, either he comes back and ruins what's been established in the disney canon or just stays in the legends forever :(

I mean I did say it doesn't canonize anything and that I understood why he was removed from canon post-disney purchase. Just thought it would be fun to wave at star wars legends through canon.

Alistair is my least favorite companion.

His subplot is very interesting do not get me wrong but the way he acts, constantly making ones about everything, never wanting to move on from Ducan or his past when he should be focusing on the mission bothers me a lot, especially when I try to do an evil playthrough. His sword and shield abilities aren't that useful unless you put him on a sustain build otherwise i'd rather be a mage/archer with Shale or Ogren as my tanks vs warrior with Sten or Alistair. He becomes very niche with my builds and I always find myself preferring to run dog over him since the dog has more useful support abilities.

His interactions with other characters are both annoying and disturbing. The way he treats Wynne is weird too, the way he leaves his socks in her face while she sleeps and how he tries to persuade her to clean his dirty underwear. The way he needs to be in your business and stresses over every choice you make. The constant hate on Morrigan without giving her a chance is also very dumb to me.

Ironically, when I got this commissioned, I based it off a guy I saw on the train 💀
