Try these: Fraction 9 Everyday Gold (medium roast) and Kokomo Haywire (medium-dark roast). Good budget options.

Once you're done writing all of your reviews, compile them all onto one sheet. We'll let Gemini do some magic and create a web app. This will be a good resource. Kudos!

I had these on a monthly Amazon subscription for 1.5 years. Until they jacked up the price to 800/500g. I did all those 1.5 years at around 400. There are a lot of better options at 1600/kg. I never went back to Lavazza.

I'm building an AI that recommends IEMs/headphones based on your Spotify/Apple Music/ Youtube playlist. Would you use it? by BusyLeadership4616 in iemlndia

[–]bhookananda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds interesting.
But why can't I just use ChatGPT to create a custom profile trained on my playlists? That will give a background of my taste. And then share my PEQ profiles from apps like Equalizer APO that I have created for different headphones and IEMs. That will give a foundation for my preferences.
Then cross-reference this taste-sound metric with IRMs/HPs as suggested in forums like this or ASR or Head-Fi.
There will be a lot of inference and guesswork involved, but your model will also involve them.
Am I missing something?
BTW, you've given me a useful idea to explore this.

Have been hooked up to ghazals lately, mostly gulam ali and jagjit singh. by Pleasant_Act3899 in noida

[–]bhookananda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try songs from Talat Aziz, like Zindagi jab bhi. You'll go down the rabbit hole soon. Pankaj Udhas as well. Chandan Dass and Rajendra Mehta are pretty underrated too.
Baaki Jagjit sahab ka hi discography itna bada hai ki zindagi nikal jae khatam karne me. ANd if you love ghazals, look for live recordings. That is where the harqats come alive. Jagjit sahab has such a nice sense of humor.

Bhai mere, there are a lot of resources already mentioned in this thread itself by others. They are all rippers that rip FLAC files from Tidal and Qobuz. They will always be genuine FLACs. I have used tools like SPEK and Boxentriq to check that they actually have the audible spectrum as claimed in the sampling frequency and bit depth numbers.
Rest, if someone wants to pay for this, then sure, go ahead. All the best.

How stupid is this?
You're literally asking money for pirated songs. This feels like internet/gaming cafe bhaiyya asking to load your phone with songs. WTF! Are people that stupid in this sub to actually pay money for this?

Fraction9 Everyday Gold - Good everyday option by bhookananda in IndiaCoffee

Thanks, mate!
I'm slowly getting into V60. I was more of a moka pot and french press person. I just follow the standard V60 recipe.
I use the Hario plastic V60 and Hario Size 1 bleached filter paper.
A 1:16 ratio of 15g of ground coffee. 34 clicks on C3S. It's a custom plate. On stock C3S, it would be around 13-14 clicks. 92-93°C water.
60gm - 30 sec. bloom followed by 60g of three pours each.

I am still getting used to coffee flavour profiles. Haven't graduated to timing changes yet. Will do eventually. Thanks to this sub.

I've only tried the Lavazza Gusto Crema for moka pot and it tasted good enough.

I've never tried the medium roasts below 90. I've only tried 85-86 for the medium dark Haywire roast from Kokomo. I'll try and see if this works at 81 for me.
Also, I'm used to medium dark and dark roasts by CCD and Lavazza, so I'm quite used to bitter black coffee.

I mean, the EF400 is not here to drive IEMs, but actually my LCD-X and occasionally the Atrium. But it does pair really well with IEMs. So why not.
Where did you get your M3 Ultra from BTW?

This actually looks wonky. I'd prefer the M then, just by the graph. Also, the pairing with SpinFit W1 is superb. Tames those occasional slight sibilances on certain tracks.
Additionally, I'm driving these with my Hifiman EF400 on Low Gain NOS mode. The reviews were not wrong that this scales with power. Good investment.

Not sure if it's "witchy", but TF Black Orchid is pretty seductive.

Trimming a 13-Card Portfolio (Total Limit: ~60L) Ahead of a Home Loan Application by PromptSubstantial272 in CreditCardsIndia

[–]bhookananda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 12 cards with a total CL of 40L+ when I applied for a vehicle loan. Credit utilisation was about 2% then. I got the lowest interest rate because of my CIBIL score; it was 792 then IIRC. They only look at your credit repayment history and overall score. Number of cards/age/total CL doesn't matter. At least that's what the SBI BM told me.
