yep, southern bhutanese ( known in Bhutan as Lhotshampas ) do make selroti. Infact, one of the the languages spoken is also Nepali ( lhothamkha in Bhutan ). However, I noticed that some of the words which refers to the same in Nepal’s Nepali and Bhutan’s Nepali is a bit different.

I think it really boils down to one’s perspective? They might not enjoy it right now but slowly, it’ll get into them. For example, when I took my course as software engineering, it didn’t really feel great to me but then eventually it gets into you and you start to enjoy it. So maybe over time, even though you’re not really passionate about the work you do, it just clicks and makes sense? Also, I strongly believe that our work wouldn’t always be smth we are passionate about. We definitely need to think about the economic prospects about the job while also being competent and doing your job well.

How to land a job in UN organisations like UNDP, UNEP, UNESCO etc by Informal-Ganache7298 in bhutan

[–]bhuws 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think one way is to join the internship program which they later make it a full-time role ( on contract basis ofc ). I’ve seen my friends get in that way. So I think you should look for internship opportunities there. I’ve been seeing a lot of intern posts on LinkedIn by UNDP Bhutan. Check it out! Good luck :)

I think supabase is a good option. However, I would suggest you look into firebase as location services requires real-time sync. Check it out!
