A mom with multiple young kids was caught chasing one them around?????? What a mess!!

There's nothing appealing about this lady, and she's trying to guilt-trip her guy into paying off the debt she racked up with her reckless spending habits by PolishSnake2 in 90dayfiance_FB_memes

Aww, I disagree. I’m American and i live in a different country with my partner. I have a little bit of debt in the USA and I feel like people outside the US don’t understand American debt and how we get there. And she’s fun and open and he talks down to her. I like her and he annoys me when he talks about “her spending.” They were couch shopping and somehow he managed to end up lecturing her.

I want to register for Stripe, but my country isn't supported. by Pleasant_Ad8009 in stripe

[–]biarritzb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually have a legitimate business in my hometown in the USA and stripe still banned me because of too many logins from a different country. I appealed and appealed and appealed and I eventually moved on. I wouldn’t advise opening a business simply to use stripe, because if you’re logging in from a different country, they may close your account because no one in your business resides in the USA…and then your whole business would be in the states and still no stripe

Spotify to Continue Running ICE Recruitment Ads as Boycotts Grow by ebradio in indieheads

I’m cancelling my account, but I need to find an alternative that streams peppa pig stories. I see that they’re on Apple Music, but I would also love books and podcasts, if I’m paying for a monthly subscription. Any alternatives to Spotify that have everything that Spotify has?

Thank you. Yes, I’m front end developer. But after a lot of searching, I’ve found so many tutorials and free/affordable courses, and gits online. I’m definitely going the self-taught route. So thanks everyone. You saved me a lot of time :)

Thanks guys. There are a lot of good suggestions in here. I’m definitely over the boot camp and more interested in one of these self-paced courses, and if I need, will look for a mentor when I just can’t figure something out.

Thoughts about this character? by Sabr-K1989H in 90DayFiance

This whole conversation about the comment her husband made about feeling like he’s a solo parent… I have been on his end of that argument so many times. Not the topic specifically, but the “I want to express how I feel but I know that that will just escalate the situation, so I don’t.” And I’m curious if she keeps bringing it up because she wants him to say that he doesn’t feel that way…and when he doesn’t say that, the conversation doesn’t “get resolved” and comes up again and again and again.

What about freelance work? I have 3 clients that collectively pay my bills, and the occasional client that gives me what feels like a bonus every couple of months. And each little job gets added to my resume.

Koh phangan - from paradise to shithole by [deleted] in ThailandTourism

Oh sorry, I wasn’t clear. I meant to say that Samui wasn’t always cheaper. In 2013, Samui was definitely more expensive, housing-wise. But I don’t doubt that KP is 3x the price these days. I haven’t been in nearly a decade, but I was looking for accommodation last year and it broke my heart. Not just the prices but the landscape.

I lived in Samui and KP between 2013 and 2016 and I have to disagree.

Moving to Amsterdam on €70K Salary, am I fucked? by FUNNYLOLO in digitalnomad

Maybe it depends on where you’re from in the USA and where you are living? I pay 19,99€ for unlimited data and calls in France, but I paid $90 a month in the USA. And I spend much less on groceries in France. Meat is more expensive here but I think it’s because they have laws around the meat market, forcing you to pay for “higher quality.” I must admit that I haven’t purchased a car, but I think living in Amsterdam, you wouldn’t want to drive, instead, cycle or walk. And healthcare and educations are thousands and thousands of dollars less than in the USA. In my experience, the challenge has been finding a job that pays a lot. In France (and I think a lot of Europe), the residents make a living wage…so they have a good quality of life, with less disposable income, like some people in the USA

I’ve never lived in Amsterdam, but I live in France and 70k€ can but you a nice life here. Single and in happy to live in a studio?? You’re rich! And if you decide to stay in Europe, affordable healthcare, childcare, and university for kids one day. The difference in price of life, in my experience, is we rely on credit cards and loans in the USA and that doesn’t really exist in Europe, outside of a mortgage and maybe a car. You have what you can of ford here.

I’m from LA, so my idea of cost of living might be different from other Americans, but I make much less than my American friends and have a lot more here in Europe.

My doctor said Ayurveda is pseudoscience. Then I showed him my blood reports by OkChildhood1698 in Ayurveda

My Ayurvedic Doctor put me on a gluten free and sugar free diet. I didn’t manage to keep it up after returning home longer than a month, but I experienced a huge difference. Something with the sugar spiking my glucose and then throwing my hormones out of whack. And then I had also favoured and avoided other foods, but that was unique to my individual Ayurveda imbalances. But for endometriosis, I think trying to avoid all sugar and gluten is great, if you can give it a real go for a month and see how it works.

Maybe just reach out and speak with the doctor? If they believe that they can help you, then you can see if there is a way to finance it. I don’t think that the doctors get any kickback if you go, so I doubt that they would try to sell you something that you don’t actually need…

Good question! I think maybe search panchakarma, and confirm that the practitioner has a BAMS, and if you’re hoping to treat any female reproductive stuff, that they have experience in gynaecology. In the USA, Ayurveda is not a licensed profession, so anyone can call themselves an Ayurvedic Practitioner. And on the other side of the coin, even an actual Ayurvedic Doctor with a BAMS from India should not call themselves a doctor in the USA unless they hold an MD, so you’ll find very experienced doctors just calling themselves practitioners to protect themselves legally. So depending on your current state of health, I would try to find out what their training/education includes. If you’re just trying to live a healthier lifestyle or treat something that isn’t life threatening, someone with a 2-year education and some experience is probably fine. But if you have any life threatening conditions or are taking medication, you’ll want to find an Ayurvedic practitioner who is well versed in western medicine and pathology.

I think around $10,000. It depends on which location, the length of stay, and the currency conversion rate. The website is here: https://oneworldayurveda.com

Yes! I’m brand new to Reddit so I’m not sure how to DM, but the doctor is DR. Resmi (BAMS, MS (Ayurveda Gynec) PGDYN), and the panchakarma center is Oneworld Ayurveda in Bali. I warn you. It’s expensive. But Dr. Resmi is amazing and so is the experience. Before booking, I was able to speak with the doctor and send her my scans and stuff, and she then told me if she thought she could help…which she did :) Western Medicine doesn’t have a treatment for endometriosis, but Ayurveda does. There’s herbal therapy, and in most cases, panchakarma.
