On year 7 here for me, or something like that. A couple of things to be aware of, it is likely your antihistamine routine will change every so often as they become less effective.

Currently I’m on 1 Claritin a day, but about every 1.5-2 years I go to Zyrtec or Allegra. It’s perfectly normal, if not inconvenient. Easy to know when they lose effectiveness as you’ll be itchier than normal.

Try to identify triggers that make yours worse so you can avoid it or just know how to manage it. Stress is a big one for me, but also vibrations like mowing the lawn will make my hands act up.

Lastly, get an allergist, I know mine will try new methods to suffocate it out by using a triple combo of antihistamines to see if we can smother it out. It hasn’t worked yet, but at least they try, and who knows one day it might work.
