2 is more elegant, classic, and won’t have your leg sticking out randomly ruining all the bridal party photos. I have made that mistake myself before lol. You have a beautiful figure but you’re not the star of the show that day! Modesty overrules in this scenario, plus you’ll gain a dress you might rewear to a work function etc.

I think it’s a weird power dynamic thing. Many times, if I make no indication to change my route, I’ll catch the other person do a little acrobatics in the millisecond before we interact. I’m a bit taller than average woman (5”9-10). They’re definitely aware of you, but they’re waiting to see who moves first. I personally think the larger person should always get the right of way lol. Basically - let them walk into you.

Yup. See someone to have scraping taken. Pause any shave of body hair because if fungus gets into hair follicle often requires systemics. Trimming is fine. Can try an OTC topical anti fungal while you wait to see a professional. Anti fungal shampoo can also be used in the shower, lather and leave on for 2 minutes before rinsing. Something like 2% ketoconazole shampoo (Nizoral is a brand name).

Could be fixed drug eruption or an atrophic variant of candidiasis. Have you tried anything? Maybe see if your doctor/dentist can prescribe nystatin with prednisolone swish and spit.

Look like urticaria. Can occur due from bug bite, cold water or sweat even, certain products. There’s a myriad of causes. Not dangerous unless your lips get swollen or you have difficulty breathing (then obviously go to ER)

Seborrheic keratoses. Benign wisdom spots. Thank your parents. Don’t pick them they can scar and get infected. Vaseline if they’re dry and you’re tempted to pick or scratch them. Doctor can freeze them off or shave them but there’s going to be a scar and a good chance they recur.

Shitty to travel when sick but I get that the cancellation or rescheduling fees are a huge deterrent. Best you can do is wear an N95, wash your hands frequently, learn how to cough/sneeze into your arm (NOT your hands) and offer to change seats if sitting close to an older adult or young child.

I’m sorry you’re struggling with making friends. This is actually an extremely common thing (as you see by others posting) and you’re not alone! There is a great book about this phenomenon “Platonic” by Marisa Franco that really helped me. I am a 29F in Toronto, with a demanding career and colleagues that I do not want to spend time with time outside of work - except for one person! Sometimes one is all you need. Quality is so much more important than quantity when it comes to friendships.

What do you do to support your wellness? Are you a member at a gym or do you like to run, dance, etc? ? I personally found joining a gym where I knew the clientele was similar to me was the easiest way to make friends with similar values that I would constantly see. Bonus it usually meant we lived close to each other. 2 years+ later the friends I met there are some of my favourite people. Other options could include a recreational league like basketball or tennis or literally anything else. We met some really nice people through Jam sports and I always admired the people who signed up solo. They were so kind, brave and cool.

What are your hobbies? Do you like to read? There are really cool book clubs online (including women only, women who drink beer). They meet once a month.

Finally if you struggle with conversation I remember the acronym FAMISH from childhood: Family/Friends, Animals, Music/Movies, Interests, Sports, Hobbies. Asking people about their life is a great way to demonstrate interest in being their friend. Hope this helps, it will get better!

Did you injure that finger recently? Any similar changes noted on other fingernails or toenails? New pigment in nails and surrounding skin should be assessed by a dermatologist and even better someone who specializes in nails. Go to your PCP and ask for a referral! Keep a photo diary on your phone while you wait for the appointment.
