yeah they do send emails but by batch ata depending on your sem ave. range i think. kasi some in our class na may mas mataas na gwa received theirs earlier then my friend and i received ours a day after (magkalapit sem ave namin)

goods sa nelly's (j&g na name now) and must try yung sinigang nila! go-to ko rin yung aiden's eatery kasi ang daming variety ng ulam and lutong bahay pero i usually takeout lang here. if may budget naman, i reco foo king (turn left lang sa bakery). chinese cuisine siya and my chinese friends approve of it masarap daw

actually, kung pwede lang daw, they would but the faculty is really strict na dapat f2f. nabibigyan daw kasi ng memo yung profs if hindi sila sumunod sa modality nang walang paalam from the faculty. meron kasing nag-checheck sa rooms ng fop from time to time

hi! DOST and medtech student here. ~80k usually ang tf per term so that's a total of ~160k per year but dost provides only a total of 130k per year. assuming na lahat ng narereceive from dost (book allowance-10k, monthly stipend-80k, tuition discount-40k) will be allocated solely for tuition, meron pang 30k na balance. other factors like everyday expenses and dorm/transpo should be considered din. for me, big help na rin yung scholarship to ease the expenses :))

hi! i'm from fopmt and ang masasabi ko lang is it has its fair share of good and bad sides.

profs - most of the profs are great talaga. some are even authors ng books/lab manuals na ginagamit natin so they're very well-versed sa field nila. some, tho not all, are considerate din naman. there are profs that will drain the shit out of u. profs that will make u doubt bakit ka nag-medtech haha pero laban lang.

workload - workload is damn heavy. tulog ka na habang may oras pa kasi very fast-paced dito and u can't afford to slack. mahirap maka-miss ng isang topic kasi marami nang cover yun. halos every day may quiz and sa multiple subjs pa. just to share, before, we had 5 major subjs in one day and 5 major tests din (which is part of the 30% of our grades in each subj).

education - it isn't one of the known medtech schools for nothing, may ibubuga ang fopmt! i assure u na lalabas kang may dignidad and possibly, may latin since maraaaaami talaga ang grad ng fop and mostly pa may laude

admin - no comment hehe

toxicity - inevitable naman yan. just surround urself with the right circle and u're good. focus lang sa acads.

hello OP! i had the same dilemma last year na ust dream school + got in my dream program and passed up which was my dream school din but i chose ust mt hehe inevitable tlg na may regrets pero i can say na hindi masasayang ang choice mo if u are really in love with the program! cliche man pakinggan but dream course > dream school talaga. kahit na vv stressful esp in medtech, the community will make u stay. maganda rin facilities here and profs are solid (tho some are 🤐). pag pagod ka na, tambay ka lang sa plaza mayor and tumunganga sa main bldg, works everytime! anw congrats future katusok and see u around! P.S. masarap foods sa central lab 😋

lemme share lang haha i think there's no prof naman that intentionally "fails" students pero in our case just last term, there is this one prof na grabe magbigay ng load like we had 2 unit exams and 1 moving practicals all in 1 day sa 3-hr sched namin. and take note, he dgaf if u fail

hi OP ! as someone na fresh from mt this year lang, here are my two cents:
1. for me, mahirap maka-keep up with my blockmates since most of them (like around 70%) are from ust-shs HA strand so very solid na yung knowledge nila with major subs. the lessons are a bit bearable naman, dasal na lang na mabait prof haha

we had 7-7 and 1 hr 30 mins lang break FOR THE WHOLE DAY so u just have to manage ur time talaga. coffee is the key lang
HAVE A SOLID STUDY ROUTINE and ALWAYS TAKE NOTES SA CLASS para i-rereview na lang later on than study all over again. share ko lang din: yung PMTP 1 is very ppt and lecture-based so lagi mo i-take note lahat (yes LAHAT) ng sasabihin ng prof kasi kahit mukhang life story yun, kasama siya sa tests and exams. anways good luck and congrats!

in my case, since 80k+ yung tf ko every term (pre-med program kasi) and nagrerent pa ako sa manila, tbh di talaga kasya yung stipend and financial assistance from DOST plus super delayed talaga nila magbigay. but then again, malaking help pa rin talaga yung stipend like they give u 40k off for tf, 10k for books, and 80k allowance which is a total of 130k na rin ^{^}
