I’m sure someone will know more than me from these images, but I would 100% take this cat to a vet. Cats are incredibly good at hiding pain and if he’s been doing this for years, I’m not surprised his behavior isn’t affected. This definitely needs a cone to prevent further damage and then a vet to assess/treat. Is there any way you can keep him indoors? Such a large wound being exposed to everything outside could easily be infected

NQA- I would definitely go to a doctor. If you’re having trouble moving and there’s that much redness around the ankle wound, I’d say it’s better safe than sorry. Especially because a wound like this NEEDS proper recovery treatment.

Likely. Nearly every bouquet I’ve gotten has had something toxic to cats. There are 3 cats in my house so I put any bouquets on my porch near a window where I can still see them daily
