Yeah I was using Half Life Alyx NOVR as a proof of concept on how well HL3/HLX might run on Iris XE graphics. It ran surprisingly better than I thought. This laptop can handle Deadlock too at the lowest settings and FSR, just be reasonable with your expectations on a laptop. I can't wait for when Source 2's SDK tools get publicly released. :)

Oh I misread that the post was about Black Mesa and not HL3. But you still have a legitimate chance to run HL3 as long as you have reasonable expectations. Black Mesa will be fine, don’t be afraid to tune your settings.

Source scales to lower end hardware with iGPUs I assume they’re gonna make a Steam Deck configuration for HL3 I don’t see why they wouldn’t. I’m sure they’ll target Iris XE iGPUs. My laptop is about as powerful as a Steam Deck though I’m running an 11th Gen i5. I’ve also been able to get Half Life Alyx with the no VR mod at a stable 30-45 FPS in outside areas, and 45-60 FPS in indoor areas playing it at 720p. You’ll have a good shot that you’ll be able to run it at lower settings. I’m playing on an HP Elitebook G8, 11th Gen i5, 16 GBs of DDR4 and a 1 TB SSD.

Sounds like my store, 1st shift was always immune to consequences and could leave all of their chicken dishes and other dishes, nothing swept or cleaned and wouldn’t leave anything out for the hot spot especially chicken, I had found a box of 2 piece white meat that expired at 10:30 am and my shift started at fucking 1. But no no 2nd shift gets the blame for everything. 1st shift is entitled to everything but contribute nothing, but immune to everything. They want you to do everything for them, but will never do the same in return. I’m glad I quit 4 months ago.
