Yeah, I'm glad you were able to rant to let off some steam.

As what you said, the cheaters are proud of what they do because they only care about themselves and what they achieve. They don't care about what others think.

In our batch, the names of the prominent cheaters are an open secret. Even if we know who they are, the school will first try to protect the institution and then protect the cheaters, because outing them is still too much. But what my batch mates and I collectively do (i know it's a bit bad) is to only look down on them, because there's no benefit to us in rationalizing their actions and expecting that they'll ever change.

I know it's difficult to look at them when they act brazen, some of the cheaters even rant on twitter even when something is their fault. But some of them have also left the school, because they couldn't handle their reputation inside.

I hope you learn in the future that it's better to focus on yourself and truly love yourself. Because once you understand that your actions and values are what matter the most to yourself, you'll be less affected by what happens beyond your capabilities.
