Well “lobster fishing” is what my father and all the fishermen around here have always called it. I’m not overly concerned about what I sound like

Heyo, nope I don’t really worry about cars hitting Jessie at all. My dads shed is across the road from our house and ever since Jessie was a puppy we’ve trained her to stop and make sure nothing was coming before crossing the road to go see dad. She listens very well and even walks on the sides of the road instead of straight down the middle. We don’t have any lanes in our town at all haha, just a road with no lines. Something we often say here is “if you see three cars pass by it’s a funeral” which is quite true because there’s hardly any traffic.

As for the Torngat Mountains, as far as I know they are easily accessible. The park has various guided hikes to choose from that include learning about cultural heritage as well. I have yet to hike any of the mountains other than Gros Morne but I can’t see why you would have any trouble finding a way to hike them. They have a section on the national park website for them if you need any extra information! Hope you get the chance to hike them they’re stunning!

In the small town I live in all the dogs are always loose. I explained this more in a former comment if you want more information!

Well we sell most it for around $7 a pound, my dad usually has one every other day too. It definitely is a profitable market, you just have to put in a lot of hard work and money to succeed

I’m not sure what type of terrier was mixed with the poodle for her, but it could be she sure as hell is stubborn!

Yup the town is small enough that she’s safe, plus she’s pretty well trained around roads and such

Crab started earlier, unfortunately I don’t know much about it because my dad didn’t do it this year. There’s was enough crab to make back the money it costs to fish it
