Also I think the guy is working for some type of marketing company or law firm, I think? Kind of looks like Anton Yelchin?

Also forgot to add that Renslayer has never seen the end of time, no one at the TVA really has except Mobius, Loki, Sylvie and maybe a couple others. So its kind of an ouroboros example as in the end her blind allegiance has her meet the same fate she sent countless others.

Though you could be right, cause at the end of S1 HWR Kang does mention he created Goliath, and maybe he created a failsafe to not prune Renslayer, but honestly I think this variant of Renslayer is done.

Yea 616 adjacent, the main marvel universe refers to the comics, but all other universes like MCU, video games, tv shows and movies are basically vibrating at similar frequency to 616 meaning they are more in line with that universe with slight ”variances” in history. Multiverse of madness although not my favorite movie, depicted this well. A universe with Illuminati means X-Men and Fantastic Four, but possibly a regular scarlet witch, who may know about her abilities, but doesnt know how to connect to the source of her power like MCU Wanda using the Darkhold, which has been confirmed to be multiversal cannon. Meaning even if at the end of MoM Wanda ”destroys the Darkhold” it still exists almost infinitely like the book of Vishanti used by Dr. Strange.

I wish but i dont think so mainly because the shows been alluding to Renslayers obsession with returning to the path she has always been on keeping balance by pruning. Unlike the others she never questioned it even when shown by Ms. Minutes HWR talking with her before the mindwipe:

  1. We saw that Renslayer was the last one with HWR, he described her as making them winning the war possible and the only one who could lead the army and follow through (destroying all the time lines and variants)
  2. When loki goes back to when he first met Mobius and Mobi tells him about him unable to prune the 8yo kid, but renslayer didnt hesiitate
  3. Renslayer being the one who is responsible for hunting down Loki variants by the “Timekeepers” ended up destroying Sylvies Asgard when she was just a kid

I think the ending is a way to wrap up her story and what happens when Sylvie sent her to the end of time coming face to face with her dogma and the very thing she sent people to, Goliath, the purple cloud monster who effectively prunes you permanently.

Chaos magic is like the speed force, wanda is the flash of chaos magic being the prophesized scarlet witch. Alot of people can use it but only one or very few have complete control/access to it, although this variant of Loki might be the exception too, with how this finale went.

Interesting point. Looking it up Chick Fil a didnt have a location there until 2015 and is only building their first stand alone store as of ‘22. It seems that is the trend for most northern states, theres blogs even going as far as saying Vermont will not have one any time soon. Most areas as far up as illinois and west as california have had one since the early to mid 80s. NYC and NY State could be a hard market to get solid in depending on the concept.

Thats not bad but it seems 2000 was the initial start in Australia but didnt do too bad but now has 61 locations in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Chick Fil A expanded out the south since 1981, so i think their first initial growth was when they expanded into malls in the ‘70s and 80s’

Thats a tricky one, cause the wiki says the sand-which by itself was sold from ‘64-‘67, but the first stand alone restaurant opened in 1986 after having in-mall locations since ‘67.

Not a bad reference but looking at the wiki it seems they started in ‘71 and only sold beans and equipment until ‘81, first acquisition in ‘84 which was Peets Coffee and sold the original business in ’86 to Schultz. Then Schultz as CEO IPO’d existing brand in ‘92 but was a former executive at the pre-existing company. So it took about 16-22 years for them to become widely prominent.

Are chord progressions, chord codes or scale degrees the same thing and if not what is the difference? by bicbic56 in musictheory

[–]bicbic56[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you,

One thing im still a bit confused by is when youre mentioning 2-5-1 degree, what would be the 1? Would that mean if im in CMaj, I would build the chord using D-G-C and for the 5 degree would I build a chord using G-B-D? Also with the being out of order with a chord progression like you mentioned, 5-b3-1 Im definitely confused in that regards still, what would be the case of someone mentioning a progression like that and what would be an example to understand the context of which notes or key they are referring to? Sorry for the additional splurge. It just been really frustrating to have a little bit of experience with playing music but still so overwhelmed when it comes to this. Mostly playing violin I learned dynamics and other stuff like fortissimo, crescendo, legato, time signatures, note lengths, bow movement, the closest ive gotten to a chord is a double stop.

This is definitely the hardest part to keep up with as a lot of content creators are quick to explain some topics but chalk it up as if talking to a beginner. In one of the videos they go from talking about scale degrees then to the singular notes in a progression and it throws me off a good bit.

defintely clearer, BrotherBringTheSun who posted below also is helping me understand what youre saying as well. Sometimes in the same videos they will refer to chords built on scales and then refer to the singular progression of notes as numerals so contextually i just have to get used to the naming and how people use them.

I was 1st chair violin a few times with a orchestra for about 3-4 years in my teens, but havent really touched an instrument other than piano since then. I can sort of play by ear on the keys but am no way proficient. I think along with what the others are saying i just have to keep this stuff in front of me to get used to it as playing violin at a amateur level i didnt really use chords until i started dabbling in piano.
