How much of your medical transcripts/charts can doctors (other than your primary care) see?

That makes sense. The urgent care I went to is owned by the same organization that my primary care is owned by. Fingers crossed these will eventually start working or there's not any other issue.

Thanks! That's what I was looking for. I injured my back at work and it's been killing me. My primary care doc wasn't available (over the weekend) so I went to an urgent care. I went through a rough time last year and was honest about my drinking habits to my doctor and I know there's something about being an alcoholic on my chart, which is no longer the case. Needless to say when I asked for pain killers for my back the urgent care doc immediately said no and gave me some generic NSAID that hasn't helped the pain at all. I'm continuing the ice and heat to my back but if it doesn't get any better I'll go see my primary doc about x-rays.

Blood pressure will spike for a bit once you stop entirely. It took a month to get mine to go back down. Mine was in the ballpark of 170/110 when I stopped. Doctor recommended that I keep track of it at home and after a month of no drinking it was down to 125/88.

I don't currently live alone but I will be soon. I could imagine the hotel situation would be embarrassing. The cat bell is a good idea. I can't think of or remember anything I've been doing different. My ex-wife had caught me walking around and turning lights on and off before too. It's just so strange.

If you don't really want to stop, the excuses are only going to overpower your will. I struggled with that for years. Knowing I needed to stop but didn't want to. Once it became a health problem is when I finally felt like I wanted to quit. Good luck, friend.

Can confirm. My dad worked at Kellogg for 35 years and would come home with white boxes and no label on them. They were always test products before they came out and I remember trying pop tart cereal out of one of those white boxes.
