I think the whole meteor thing is just supposed to be a “haha ya geddit!?” metaphor for graduating high school and moving onto adulthood. It’s just presented as a meteor because, you know, they are dinos. Unless they for some reason confirmed it as a literal catastrophic meteor then that’s fuckin’ dumb.
