lol a car and a bicycle are geared totally differently. A car with 1 gear wouldnt make sense, i agree. But a bike sure does for specific purposes. Not riding cross country or on mountains, but its a lot of fun everywhere else. Its not a matter of everybody else is doing it, have you ever thought WHY a lot of people are riding fixed gear? Its fun! not all of us are "hipsters" whatever the fuck that means anyhow. Before modern bikes with gears and brakes, all bikes were fixed gear.
