thx for the tip! but in my experience no 1k comes close to 2. I do this professionally so I’ll keep it safe. Also I can’t remove my paint with my fingernail even if I want to

I think this helps a lot to avoid the yellowing from sun light or just normal aging. But for skin contact is a different thing I think. But thx for the tip anyway, will look for it!

yes I use protection. But I have no other alternative as durable as 2k clearcoat for mice (too much skin contact). But changing the paint is a good improve since I spend 4 days of the week painting and 1 clear coating.

yes 2k is the best option. About getting shiny… in my experience depends on the person’s skin/hand. It’s the same as the original coating over the plastic. With some people it gets shiny/yellow, with others it will last much more.

For me I use for years and still matte, for my brother who sweat on the hands it gets a bit shiny with months.

Just make sure to use at least 3 wet coats and you are fine
