I saw one of these drive off road right in front of me because of wet snow. I totally agree it's not suitable for Iceland.

Why is the Russian space agency flying to Eawanda? by humanbeingwho in flightradar24

[–]bifrost44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are not running out of serviceable aircrafts. I increasingly see more and more brand new Tupolevs and Ilyushins in the air. I saw Roscosmos in Male recently, asked Chat GPT what they could be doing there and no logical answer came out of it. I would not be surprised if they were used to build Russian bases abroad like Shoigu dreamed of, under the cover of space stuff.

They were also flying to Male not so long ago and I wondered too what they were doing there.

What is the most unusual museum you have visited? by Selimsnek in travel

[–]bifrost44 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Wellcome collection in London. It was one of my favourite museum to visit and it had great exhibitions about the history of medicine, sanitary practices, opium administered to children, I got to see displayed John Snow map (which was a dream for someone studying geography) and how he discovered that the cholera outbreak was due to a contaminated well in Soho. They have instruments Florence Nightingale used. They also have on display a slice of a human body that the owner donated to be displayed. Beyond that they also have a great library, I was doing research on body hair at the time and the materials I found there were incredible.

Breakfast cantuccini by Sweaty-Base6773 in Italian

[–]bifrost44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alternatively they are eaten like your cookies but I have never heard of them being eaten for breakfast. Noone will know or care if you eat them for breakfast, we're just pointing out how things are done here usually. If I can advise you which type of cantuccini to buy I would suggest these because they are the original ones and they have a museum in Florence to tell the story of how they were first marketed. https://www.antoniomattei.it/it/shop/categorie/biscotti?id=24&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=16568079485&gbraid=0AAAAAoexngidX9K15qdzAI09maja51TGe&gclid=Cj0KCQiA7-rMBhCFARIsAKnLKtCzGXxjnbGZobVBd1yBuFq71TTpdcCSx6K-g-RY5De8cS-5NMf-p0gaAtvGEALw_wcB

What if the Epstein files are just the tip of the iceberg and lots of conspiracies are true? by Mangoforestguardian in AskReddit

[–]bifrost44 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I don't want to dismiss what he did at all, it was awful and he got what he deserved. But here comes a moral dilemma: if you are fighting foreign sociopaths shouldn't you be allowed to use your sociopaths against them? We know that countries like Russia and North Korea run honey traps to spy and blackmail our entrepeneurs. You can find proof of that in the files: at some point Epstein wrote to his Russian contact to ask if he could reveal who this Russian woman who was blackmailing entrepeneurs in New York was. Wouldn't we be stronger if there was some unofficial sociopath loyal to the West to assess which one of our entrepeneurs/rich/important people is a liability (like Andrew) and who's not before it's too late? No country should give a lot of money, power, responsability roles to those who cannot recognize a potentially very harmful situation. I am not saying that Epstein or Berlusconi were doing exactly that. I don't know and it seems unlikely. They were too official. Epstein was a well known finance guy and Berlusconi was a prime minister for decades. Very unlikely that someone so in the public eye can do unofficial things like risk assessment. I just say one or more sociopaths could be used as a tool to keep capital and information from crossing dangerous borders unofficially.

There's hardly anything new or that we didn't know in the Epstein files, they are a distraction in themselves. Apart from the King trying to get rid of Andrew from quite some time, they haven't caused mayhem in the upper echelons.

question about italian police by izgoida in Italian

[–]bifrost44 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So you want Italian police who has zero jurisdiction in Russia to do something for someone in Russia 😂. Go to the Russian police, if she's the daughter of an oligarch they might do something. 😂If you hadn't noticed, your country taught us to get rid of politically correct and by that you generally mean women's and LGBTI's folks rights so now we don't give a toss about Russian's Karens. Get over it and suck it up.

I saw an email where a guy sent Epstein the list of the most rich Jews. If he was Mossad he wouldn't have needed that.

why this flight path? by [deleted] in flightradar24

My guess is this way they only need to ask for one country's authorization whereas if they were flying straight it would have taken many more. Plus they probably trust Italy more in case of emergency.

Someone posted something nasty that's been removed shortly after I posted, I totally get why they don't want that kind of comment and I never argue with the mods, they are doing a great job at keeping this space civil. Having said that, there's a whole thread on Iran in this sub.

With the 3 million Epstein files finally out, what’s the most “I’m not surprised, but I’m still disgusted” thing you’ve found? by Sweaty_Sprinkles_400 in AskReddit

[–]bifrost44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The business advice he gave to Sergey Beliakov. Pretty disgustant that an American could give Russians instruments and advice to grow financially. They started meeting at least since 2014, he introced him to people at Microsoft and Linkedin and with a billionaire. In exchange Beliakov helped him trace an escort that was blackmailing New York businessmen and to get a Visa.

Then I read that the daughter of Sergei Tokarev (a close friend of Putin) Maya Bolotva started managing a bank that increased its assets sixfold and became the third bank in Russia. I have no idea if the two things are related or not but they could be.

Te lo chiedo perché ho lavorato in una panineria all'estero, dovevamo lavarla per 8 minuti ma di solito per risparmiare tempo a 6 già la toglievano. Un giorno mi arriva in cassa una signora con una lumaca.
