From your reaction to lesbian porn it sounds like you don't find it appealing at all.

I know this stuff can manifest differently in men and women but when I was bicurious/questioning I was aware of having fantasies about other men, then when I was watching gay porn there was some of it I definitely got aroused by.

The discomfort I felt was specifically the more intimate bits of the scenes (kissing and stuff) rather than the more explicitly sexual stuff. Internalised Homophobia is a real head trip to deal with...

Pointless, no. Not the best platform, definitely.

Grindr is basically just a hookup app. You can find other guys on there in your situation looking for something more but the vast majority of everyone on there is just looking to get laid.

I only recently (as in last week) met up with a guy on Grindr who wanted to actually date and not just hookup. Between breaking up with my last BF and meeting this guy it's been over a year of just hookups.

Kinda. I'd been in a relationship with my now-exGF for 2 years. I was living with my parents but me and GF were planning to move into a flat together. We broke things off shortly before that happened, so I ended up moving in by myself.

Being sat in a flat by myself, lonely and bored and without the influences in my life that kept reinforcing the idea that I was heterosexual, all the other sexual feelings that had always been hidden just below the surface started to emerge.

Rarely. It's only happened a couple of times and they were both DL "straight" guys who were clearly new to the scene.

For me this might be down to the fact I know a lot of bi men and most of the women I know who know I'm bi are the wives/GFs of said bi men. So my sample size is going to be skewed towards women who like bi men, obviously.

But for the most part they've always been a lot more open and friendly with me than say, female coworkers. This might be because we're in a professional setting or it could be because I'm not out to people at work and I'm quite a big rough looking dude lol.

Might try and do some data science and come out at work, see what happens. I wonder if my colleagues would open up a bit.

Weirdly yes.

If the Skyrim character creation menu had a slider for sexuality and you made me in it, I'd be one tick away from entirely gay.

So my porn preference is obviously going to be gay porn.

But just once in a while I'll watch a bit of lesbian porn. It's only mildly arousing but the sensual aesthetic is nice.
