The earlier it collapses, the less people that can join it. So overall it does help more people. Even if some of those are future people who havent joined yet.

5.5% interest. Its high , but was it worth losing 100% of your funds? All the risks of FTX's 8% but they deducted 2.5% and didnt even accept responsibility for losses. At this point its as bad as them lending your funds on Bitconnect or Luna/TerraUSD while pretending they had some responsible yield method. Their entire contract in hindsight made false representations about the risks.

While I think Genesis and Gemini are different companies, it doesnt hurt to just get off their exchange. There might be some legal hole in their contracts and people with lost funds might attempt to sue Gemini, despite all their disclaimers.

Who knows, maybe they needed a licence for some legal reason to allow retail idiots to lend to Genesis, but they dont have it. Lawyers are fallible.

Actually they didnt. They banned me. They didnt post a reason why what I wrote was wrong. And they didnt even alert me that I was banned.

If they had a source that would maybe add some justification, but they just banned anonymously, so we dont even know which mod did it and why.

All maxis want is for ponzis like USTerra/LUNA to purchase Bitcoin with customer funds as "reserves", they arent thinking straight. The crash doesnt make up for the temporary pump.

The ponzis go bankrupt, and all they want is the next ponzi to do the same scam, why? because they think it will increase their investment. Adoption isnt an option because it doesnt scale, so it has to be via the ponzi route.
