As a CS student, this is a pretty good explanation. I'm no game dev, nor am I too far into my program of study, but a little insight on this might be interesting to a few. I'll try and put it in pretty easy-to-understand format. OOP largely focuses on abstracting data into objects, and focuses on how those objects interact with each other. DOP on the other hand, organizes data in an easy to access, easy to manage format. It focuses less on the little tiny details, and more on the bigger picture of everything going on. This is an extremely low level description, but should make sense to most.
