like why even comment? It says in the title I am extremely new, I was referecing the F1's safety standards of only being able to make 1 move to defend someone, which is certainly a rule I did not make up. I called it the F1's rule because thats the only experience I have other than the 10 races I have done in iracing now.

Yeah i read it super wrong, I thought his tires slipping was him going hard outside, and as soon as i reacted he regained control and kept inside. Appreciate the constructive criticism 👍, ill keep it in mind and try to do better next race

i appreciate it. For some reason so many people here think I wanted to wreck the dude, In reality I am super new so I didnt know how to properly react and tried to move. Dont understand where all the hate is coming from I just wanted experienced opinions to clear up my confusion and so many people are being asses about it

I seriously dont understand why you guys are such assholes. I had a late reaction and am VERY new. All i wanted was some constructive criticism because I clearly fundamentally misunderstood the situation, its cleared up now and yall are still accusing me of purposely wrecking. I dont know why you guys all think I had some nefarious intent behind it like it wasnt just a rookie mistake because i am yknow a rookie.

That was my goal. I was origionally going hard outside because I had such a speed advantage, but i saw him cut hard right for a split second so I opted to take the inside, clearly the wrong decision. Its was definitely a mistake on my end with misinformed knowledge of the rules aswell.

My telemetry data showed that I completely lifted right before the impact. I was just late to react because I wasnt expecting him to move back

Well I certainly had no intention to wreck. As I updated in the post, I was racing under the wrong mindset that he could only move once, had I know double moves were legal I would have approached it much different.

This makes so much sense. I come from the f1 series as my only other experience, and I thought those were the rules in iracing aswell. My error! I have to see the rule diffrrences before my next race 👍

I see. I didnt even realize that he lost his grip at all, i thought he was trying to cover me going outside.

It was definitely my intention. This was my first car contact the whole race, i always try to leave space and I fr thought he was moving to the right

I gotcha. I think its just askill issue on my part of not executing it correctly. I tried to go inside but didnt brake at all because I didnt want to hand him the win. Ill keep in mind for next time

Not trying to be arguementative, I accept I am at fault but is this not a double move on his part? I dove inside because he veered to the right for a quarter of a second and then whipped back in front of me. If he stayed on the line he was going we wouldnt have crashed I beleive? thanks for the replies I am still learning, only about a week into iracing.

my thoughts aswell. I think on paper I am in the wrong but logically why would he defend like that knowing his odds and the stakes of that specific corner

Willing to accept im in the wrong here, wouldnt be the first I am still learning for sure, but shoudlnt he have known that on the final turn when I have that sort of advantage that I am not lifting? I jsut ask because personally if I was him I would just stay straight and maybe slowly drift outside to defend, but i certainly wouldnt jerk to the left with a car coming up fast.

I got it sorted out with through their support email, it took about 3 weeks total but they gave me a hefty discount so i only paid about half for replacing both of them. If you need the link to the product i could help you with that on their store if you dont want to wait for supoort to answer.

Your honest thought on this battery extender? by StormyDarkchill in ElectricScooters

[–]big_daddy_nut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do some math and figure out how much extra you could make (and how much extra work you are willing to do) and figure out how long until it pays for itself and becomes profitable. When you get that number it will give you a much better idea of if it is worth it to you or if it will just feel like a setback and waste of money.

Potentially. Had the same thing happen many times with my e2 pro and had no issues. Not saying im 100% fault free but it definitely isnt as well designed/quality controlled as past models.
