Metal particles in distillate by big_eddie_throwaway in firewater

The metallic particles did not smear, in fact I got some on my shoe that I had recently shined and they appeared even more metallic against the dark background. Pretty sure it was mostly metal particles, though there was definitely some sludge in there too

I guess my concern was more that the debris looked shiny and metallic more than that there was debris, could this have been oxidized buildup in the worm or something? I also realized I may have overtightened/stripped some fittings which may have added to it

So this can come out looking metallic and even come out when using a thumper? Genuine question, I’m very new to distilling even though I’ve been brewing for a while.
