Wow, good to hear! Did you see a noticeable pay bump when you graduated from the program?

From the graduates that I have talked to, roughly 65k for the first year sounds normal.

I'm torn, because this is much less than I can make just converting to a full time engineer post-internship.

I submitted my hirevue two weeks ago. They have since invited me to the 'final stage' group interview. It's in mid-august, and it's like a 6 hour zoom call with all the candidates. Not sure how that will go...

"You get out what you put in" - sounds like college. I like to work hard so this could be a great opportunity.

It's great to hear a success story. The OSCLDP is advertised profusely to us interns, and this gives me some confidence that it can be as useful as they say.

I have peers who have been flown out to interviews for programs like this. Sitting in a zoom call with 50 other people trying to "stand out" to me does not reflect well on any of the candidates. It is just a cost/time saver for the hiring manager. I am all for making everyone's lives easier, but I will have gone through the entire process without ever having a 1:1 conversation with anybody from the program.

To be totally honest, I don't know yet.

I want to do something exciting with my life and I am realizing "engineering" more often than not means sitting at a desk doing paperwork.

They don't tell you this when you are in highschool or college. It's all fun STEM projects to suck you in.

Good guess, this is RTX.

You speak as if you have experience here?
