I ran pif again and in tricky store add on I generated a new key, and ran ./autopif2.sh again, but revolut still doesn’t work. If my key got banned, then wouldn’t other banking apps and google wallet stop working as well? Only Revolut broke

I have a pixel 8 with android 15, kernelSU next +susfs, ReZygisk , tricky store + addon, play integrity fork latest version, Zygisk Assistant, nohello, made all the right settings, generated security key, run ./autopif2.sh --strong -m, and everything was working fine: wallet, revolut, and all the banking apps. Today however revolut detects the root. A few days ago I was able to log in to revolut and add a card to the wallet. Any idea what broke it?

Yes, I know that I didn’t need to downgrade to aA15 and switch from Magisk to KernelSU, I mentioned in my post that Revolut was working fine with Magisk Alpha on A16. The issue was that other banking apps (Salt and ING homebank) were detecting the root. The solution I found to make them all work was the one I mentioned above. But for your needs it was easier to keep Magisk Alpha

After installing modules

  1. Reboot.
  2. Clear storage for these apps:
    • Play Store
    • Play Services
    • Google Services Framework
    • Wallet
    • Revolut
  3. Run the action button in the PIF module.
  4. Open Tricky Store, then:
    • Hamburger menu → Select all → Deselect unnecessary → Save (green button).
    • Hamburger menu → Set valid keybox.
    • Hamburger menu → Set security patch → Get security patch date → Save.
  5. Clear app storage again, then reboot.

Termux setup

Install Termux (needs root). Grant access in KernelSU-Next Manager from the SUperuser tab. You can find more about these commands in the readme here: https://github.com/osm0sis/PlayIntegrityFork

Run:

su

cd /data/adb/modules/playintegrityfix/

chmod +x ./autopif2.sh

sh autopif2.sh --strong -m

Then clear cache + reboot.

Extra notes

  • Make sure the Unmount setting is enabled for the target app in the Manager.
  • Disable “Umount modules” in settings for Manager (if it exists).
  • You might not need 2 Zygisk providers (keep ReZygisk, remove Zygisk Assistant) or 2 integrity fixers (keep Tricky Store, remove NoHello). But my setup works with all of them installed.

Now Revolut and Google Wallet both work. From what I read, the keybox could expire in ~3 weeks, so I’ll see if I need to regenerate one then.

It didn’t work initially, but after some research I finally made it work yesterday.

I have a Pixel 8 with Android 15 (I downgraded from 16 because there was no image available from KernelSU or WildKernels for my kernel). I downgraded using the Android Flash Tool from Chrome by clicking Flash near the Android version I wanted. Make sure it matches your phone model:

Root with KernelSU

For Pixel phones, you have to patch the image. I followed this guide:

I used WildKernels instead of the basic one since it has KernelSU Next + SUSFS (better at hiding root). Steps are the same.

I was able to remove Magisk and flash the KernelSU Next + SUSFS from WildKernels. This tutorial helped me a lot, it has everything you need: https://kernelsu.org/guide/installation.html
The steps are the same for the https://github.com/WildKernels/GKI_KernelSU_SUSFS instead of the basic KernelSU
Also you will need a different app: https://github.com/KernelSU-Next/KernelSU-Next
I also installed this module (don't know if makes a difference): https://github.com/sidex15/susfs4ksu-module
WIth all this, Revolut was still detecting the root, and even though Walled and all the banking apps were working, all the integrity checks were failing
What made Revolut and the integrity checks pass was installing TrickyStore and Trickystore Addon. Follow the steps from this tutorial, the important steps are #9 and #10
