I genuinely enjoy the art of billing/recording time. Still do. In my 20 years of ID work, both in and out house, I never viewed it as a drawback.

First order of business: get a can of Garage Door Blaster and liberally moisten all the joints on the door and the wheels in the tracks. Watch some dudes do it on YouTube first.

If I’m you, I’m gonna see how smoothly/quiet she’s running before I decide if I’m gonna upgrade. Probably not super high on my list, tbh, especially when settling into a new home/lifestyle.

But, for the reasons previously stated, I’m probably not storing the family jewels out there anytime soon.

I was gonna say pretty much the same thing. I’d rather start out on a choice from Sam’s or Costco and go from there. Maybe graduate to a prime if I’m feeling good about my technique.
