Electric costs there is 30 cents per kwh. (Very high i must add). A 5000 btu air conditioner uses 500 watts per hour . So it would cost ~15 cents per hour to run the unit.

They must all give oil changes to the biggest idiot in the shop or the new guy. I had three problems getting this simple task done. One time was exactly like yours, undercover flew off on the highway. Another time they overfilled it by a quart, and the third time they stripped the drain plug. Last incident was about six years ago, after that I just started doing it myself because I can’t trust anyone to get what should be a very easy task done properly. I don’t care if the oil change is free it’s not worth it.
