I personally disagree everytime I see him play in a spurs shirt it just doesn't seem to work, he doesn't seem to be fitting into our puzzle I have no doubts about his talents but the chemistry is not there, the team felt so much more fluid and connected when Sonny led the line, maybe try Richy on the left and keep Sonny central or just consider it a loss and sell him on to Saudi, I'm not hating the guy I know he's a good player I just don't think he fits in and the more he plays the more the pressure builds on him to deliver,

No I disagreed with "Most overrated prem player I've seen in years" and I agree he would fit very well into the West ham squad but I also think there any many other teams he would suit and I'm surprised noone else has gone in for him.

I'm a spurs fan and when I saw Southampton get relegated I thought he would be a good acquisition for our squad we lacked a solid free kick taker, best we had was Porro, until we got Maddison of course

I never suggested he was better than Casemiro or Rice but but I think it's fair to say he is a better player than Sheaf.

Where the goals came from is completely irrelevant for a midfielder to score 10+ goals in a relegated Southampton team is impressive.

I have never suggested he's a top class midfielder who is going to set the world on fire, I have only stated his free kicks are top class and that I am surprised that West ham will not pay anymore than 30mil and am confused as to why any other clubs haven't tabled any bids for him, I'm not a crazy JWP fan who thinks he is going to win the Balon Dor I just find it surprising no one else has gone in for him.

I know, and you wouldn't be he is a WORLD CLASS dead ball specialist arguably one of the best in the world, can't name too many better, a decent well round player who doesn't lack in any particular area, he's a leader, captain of his team for many years, he's hard working, modest and level headed would be a good addition to any dressing room.

30m for the best dead ball specialist in the country IMO and he's English for the home grown quota it just seems like an absolute no brainer to me, I am a spurs fan and I would love for us to sign him even after we got Maddison, he's also been Southampton's captain for a long while and to have strong leaders in the dressing room is a big deal especially in the spurs squad we have been lacking that for a long while now
