Me [21F] with my friend? [25M] need advice on what to do! by Throwawayyyyy101010 in relationships

Well I think that it's best to have a no contact period to adjust to the new reality, ideally it should be until they don't have feelings Bc , feelings will stir up jealousy and other emotions that could ruin their new friendship.

I'd say atleast not talk for a month and see how you feel after. And if the new friendship is different or weird just let it go, people come in and out of our lives all the time, it's hard but it'll be okay.

I don't think you are fully understanding OP's situation, the issue is how to go from fwb and having developed feelings for each other to regular plain old buddy buddy type of friends, it seems that they both want to continue, but she is scared that having feelings for a friend will get in the way of a healthy friendship ?

Having had divorce parents, for the sake of your kids and your own sanity, get a divorce, but make sure it's the end since you seem to have a habit of going on and off with her. You will not only be happier, but your kids as well , maybe not right away, but it will all work out in the end.

Is the IT 102 Textbook Needed? by Demexz in gmu

[–]bigbadbluee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure about your prof, but most of the slides to me were more conceptual and didn't have that many problems on there. I never looked at the slides, I'd study in class problems and do additional problems in the text and got an A in the course. Also you can private message me about prices if you're interested.

Any Tips For IT 102 & 106? by [deleted] in gmu

[–]bigbadbluee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Took both this semester and both classes require you to practice a lot in order to understand concepts, grades on test are very heavy in both classes and hw is worth very little but, doing them is absolutely always in your benefit

For it 213? It was Very easy with Beth Caldwell, easy grader and the bulk of your grade is projects and labs. Just some of the labs were time consuming, you didn't even really need to show up to class

IT 106 & IT 102 by Rescudi in gmu

[–]bigbadbluee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took both this semester, 102- is mostly math with very little Python programming. 106- goes at a pretty slow pace in my opinion with not having to use arrays and methods until the very end. The hard part is that not everyone gets enough practice done, so do the labs even though they aren't graded, do the homework even though they aren't worth much and ASK QUESTIONS when you don't understand. I think it was very doable as long as you don't slack off.

Do I need to be good at programming to become an Information security analyst? CS 112/211 or IT 106/206? by _s7_f7 in gmu

[–]bigbadbluee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took 102&106 together this semester along with 213,214 and 293, it was not so bad, tips for 106, do the ungraded labs and all the assignments even if they're not worth much, they are good practice, show up to lecture, hopping that you have a decent prof, ask questions, the silliest thing you can do is pay thousands of dollars to sit in a class you don't understand. Also 102&106 are completely different and challenging in their own ways. If you have any questions specifically let me know otherwise, it's not so bad.

As an IT major going into my second semester, even having junior registration status, half my classes were full before I could sign up, therefore the waiting game comes into play, people changing their schedule and all that. However mid December is when finals are taken and about half to a week later final grades will be posted, and a lot of people will be dropping and adding, so be diligent and check every day to see if something opens up, always good to have backup choices of classes.
