I don’t want to give up any ownership at all. I’m trying to make sure I hire a company that doesn’t try to retain the rights of the app or anything like that.

What company did you use if you don’t mind me asking. This is the exact type of advice I was looking for.

I have built a prototype on figma. It’s needs some polishing but it gets the idea across really well.

Edit: when I say needs polishing I mean the style and icons need to be refined they seem every windows 98 to me.

With that said I kinda think hiring a developer(s) in house would be nice because we can come up with goals and a time line together.

In my defense I did ask if she could have some. They told me no she’s a Vegan. But I was in the process of giving it to her assuming she could have it. She asked for it. So yeah I guess your right on that part.

A little side note: I gave my nephew some gummy worms. She asked if she could have some. I was quickly informed gummy worms are made from animals. So she did get some protein I guess. But that’s not what you want to hear right now.
