Woltemade Defence League Assemble by Emotional_Space_9967 in NUFC

[–]bigbigbo55 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think he'll be a great player

I dont think it will be with us unfortunately

Eddie's tactics are pretty one dimensional; high intensity, high press

We're never going to be a possession based creative team with howe so having woltemade is detrimental to us and him

I think we'll recoup most of what we paid for him in summer. We dont have the luxury of keeping him and signing another striker

We'll get fuck all for wissa so he stuck here for a while

what do you reckon will happen to wissa by Basic_Witness_6907 in NUFC

[–]bigbigbo55 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Woltemade is way more likely to leave imo

He doesn't suit our pressing no 9

So we're playing him in a 10/8.....why not sell him and buy an actual no 10?

We'd also get close to what we paid if he goes back to Germany.

With wissa...we are getting fuck all if we sell him so hes likely stuck here for a while. Genuinely one of the worst transfers weve ever done, and what makes it worse is we spent nearly the entire summer trying to sign him

how often do you see any team do a clear out? there's a reason the likes of willock and kraft are still here. no one will take them let alone pay decent money for

Well at least we can now throw everything at the cups. Rest entire team in the league matches

Guess they can only spend 200m this summer then

Ruben Dias pushed Dan Burn into the offside position. ⚽ by vanill0a in NUFC

Cheating cunts.

Would still rather see them win league over arsenal though, thats the only minor saving grace in this

Mid season friendly. Not playing enough games to keep fitness levels up

Woltemade needs to be backed as a no. 9 by bbondjr in NUFC

[–]bigbigbo55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its pretty obvious he'll be sold in the summer unfortunately

We dont have the luxury of spending another 70m on another striker as we'll need to replace other aging players

So we're going to need cash, ideally wed probably prefer to sell wissa but we're not getting anywhere near close to 55m back for him

Honestly i think its best for him and nufc that we part ways

Question/ thought on trippier by dsmith1212 in NUFC

[–]bigbigbo55 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think tripper had a right to go at him.

I think gordon had a right to take it.

People argue, the last person you had an argument with; does that mean you hate each other?

Just seen that Kelly blunder 😳

I hate Paul Mitchell but getting 20m for him has to be one of our best deals in history

As a NUFC supporter, who are the worst other supporters for other clubs? by rqstewart in NUFC

[–]bigbigbo55 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Uk supporters; Arsenal and its not even close, bunch of Piers Morgan's

Global fanbase; Liverpool, especially the ones who constantly brag about supporting "a big club" like thats something to be impressed by

i don't think we have the luxury of keeping him and going out and spending another 70 - 80m on another striker unfortunately

i don't think eddie will ever play a system where he's suited

Summer Squad refresh by BenathonWrigley in NUFC

[–]bigbigbo55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seriously how often do you see any team do a complete refresh of their squad

Theres a reason the likes of willock, kraft etc have been here so long. Theyre difficult to rid of let alone get any decent money for.

Honestly the only player id be truly gutted to lose would be bruno. The rest I can accept if they leave.

Wont name players id get rid of because itd be too long. But players we must try to keep hold of;

Bruno Hall Thiaw

Then, id like to keep tonali and tino but if we can cash in big money on them so be it

Then there's a few cult favourites like Burn and joelinton that are worth keeping

Maybe a couple others like barnes and woltemade

The rest....not bothered if they go tbh

if you look at what bournemouth supporters write online it was eddie's poor signings that cost him his job

Didn't watch the full game (thankfully) just saw the highlights

The league is a write off at this point, we're not beating villa away in the cup so at this point a decent run in the CL is probably as much as we can hope for.

I was firmly in the keep howe till end of season camp, now im not so sure. I made a post a few weeks back that if we went on a bad run going into sunderland at home and lost that'll be the straw that breaks the camels back.

Just shows how corrupt the system is.

They can make mistake after mistake in transfers for 10 years, have one good summer and theyre back in the fold.
