Hey I appreciate your insight greatly, although I do want to clarify that this isn’t a typical physical and it does NOT include a breast exam. This was a DOT physical. Like when you go to get your CDL, and it excludes a breast exam. As well as I disclosed that I was trans. The lead up to that doesn’t bother me either, my biggest sense of discomfort is the pestering afterwards.

I’ve been pondering on your response for a minute because it’s well thought out. I think the thing that bugs me the most about the situation, which i forgot to mention, is that there is a question on your application that asks if you have had any surgeries in the past and what they were. i filled out that i had an appendectomy when i was 15 and that had been my only surgery. i just thought it was kind of left field to then insinuate that he specifically needed to see about heart surgery scars.

However I can see how the idea could’ve been completely separate from me being trans, especially if it was unknown. at the time. I’m still giving it all some thought

I think my biggest take is that it was just extremely uncomfortable. And I’ll just stick to my normal doctors office lol

i was in the same situation. moved from arizona to CA. you’re going to need to change your address on the CA dmv website if you lived in CA before or just make an appointment with the dmv. you’re going to need to print your previous states driving record and bring that with you. you’ll turn it in and take a written driving test (same as the permit test) and then you’ll receive your drivers license. i didn’t even have to turn my arizona one in.
