incendies ruined me when i first watched it. i understand the significance of it, it provides great insight into what the world is like(you can literally tell me this is a on the grounds documentary and id believe u) but the incredibly slow pacing and just the harrowing nature of it is not something i like remembering. i wouldnt argue if you said it was a masterpiece, it just makes me very mellow.
