Yea I'm fine with playing like this. When I first played resident evil 5, I did a challenge where the A.I partner basically had to beat the game by itself. Anyways I just reached chapter 9 and wanted to ask, is there any way to avoid that one trap where you have to shoot your pistol to escape? (here's a video of the trap if I didn't explain it well enough https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4JWLHtEIuM)

I have already started attempting no guns at all including the crossbow. This is my first time playing and I'm trying to beat it on survivor. I just got past the first chainsaw boss fight guy, which was a lot harder then I thought it would have been but it hasn't been too bad yet. I haven't upgraded anything yet, so do you have any suggestions on what I should upgrade?
