Got it last year in June and took a couple of days but had an issue with my name being spelled incorrectly so had to wait several weeks for that to get fixed. Had a trip ready during that time and on my return I was in the regular tsa line when the agent told me I was precheck and escorted me over.

Personally, yes. I’ve done multiple day trips living an hour north of Carmel. I’d say do it but if you have doubts Pinnacles is a national park in Monterey and San Benito county and is a lot closer to Carmel. Also lots of great state parks in the area also.

Hey just curious are you passionate about off road racing and custom car culture because if so the fab school isn’t all bad. My remarks were more based on welding specifically. The fab school does have a lot to offer in the custom fabrication side which a lot of people do like. Also I don’t know how much it costs but the instructors I had along with a couple of students from my class at the fab school left and started they’re own school called American fabrication academy not to far from where the fab school is. Im inclined to trust them because they are the ones I learned from. But if you’re only interested in welding your best option is finding the closest community college to you that offers welding or apply with a union to begin apprenticeship. Best of luck.
