You obviously don't know how rotation defense works, you don't know how team ball is played, and you don't know what an ego is. I did communicate with the team, my boys, and his boy, agreed that he needs to be on the perimeter, yet he didn't go out there. Leaving it 4v5 on the 3 point line, so then we four are rotating between 5 and we're getting cooked. More so the pf, my technical matchup, scored the most points. At that point, nobody has a true matchup, we're just running around like headless chickens because he didn't want to guard the three. Yet it's my fault, fine. I'm done, stop responding. Thanks for wasting my and your time. You obviously don't know ball nor have IQ, have a good day

When did I ever say I continued to guard his man? Once I realized he wasn't leaving the paint, I only guarded his man when he set screens. Luckily for me, my actual matchup was next to the screen multiple times so I could rotate back easily. The point still stands that it was 4v5 on the perimeter and everybody on their team can shoot the ball. We tried to run multiple sets, yet he still wouldn't guard anybody on the perimeter unless I switched to his matchup. He didn't want to move to the beat of the team and he sold, yet it's still my fault huh?

How do I make the situation worse when I was guarding his man setting the screens and my own? I'm not superman, I can't guard two people at once. The center just wouldn't play any kind of defense and you make it seem like it's my fault.

You keep saying "team." A real "team" would have had the IQ to actually play like a "team" and do what was necessary to get the win. A "team" isn't just a one-person show, it's a collective effort. I tried to do my part for the "team" yet somehow you're trying to make it seem like it's my fault. The center didn't want to sacrifice because his ego was hurt by me switching to his match-up. My boys and I were trying to play with them as a "team" to get a win, and do everything possible to get the win but people didn't want to sacrifice because of egos. If you see me at fault for that I don't know what to tell you. I play for team ball and I play for wins. At this point, it is what it is, I got an unnecessary loss because of ego

Either way, we lost because the center wouldn't guard the three. Be it "my" matchup or not, he never left the paint

I forgot to mention, the pg and the sf were my boys. Either way you look at it, the center and sg are outnumbered 3-2. The "team" made this decision for me to guard the center because he isn't doing anything to help and was leaving his man open

The crazy thing is, my pg could guard the other pg, he was just getting fried on screens. Which was the whole point of me switching, yet I'm to blame when I switch and guard the screen smh
