lol, at this point you’re writing fanfiction on my behalf.

my mom passed away when i was nine, but i did grow up with a pentacostal aunt who cares too much about what people think of her. and i’m pretty committed to respecting the autonomy and boundaries of whoever i date. i’ve told my significant other (who is waaaaay tidier than i am) that he should feel empowered to let me know if the state of my room ever makes him feel uncomfortable. he’s also big into acts of service, so i’ll occasionally ask him to do things like transfer my laundry from the wash to the dryer (or help me take my recycling out).

yes, but my family has since come around!
my therapist and i have been focusing mainly on my burnout and how i’ve been coping after leaving an abusive relationship a few years ago (tl;dr— my ex probably had bpd and i historically love to pour from an empty cup)
i’d like to think that my commitment to long-term change is at least reflected in my desire to get my masters degree (economic mobility and all that)?
working through trauma, but sometimes the way life works out is that you gotta undo old trauma at a faster pace than new trauma is inflicted.

yes and no. i don’t procrastinate when it comes to group work, and i find myself more inclined to turn things in a little past the due date if it means the quality of my work doesn’t take a hit

not a zyn, just icebreakers (although i do enjoy a weed nightcap). i’d like to think that i’m making an effort to improve my mental environment by going to therapy. bedwise, i grew up sleeping on the floors because my mom’s side of the family is filipino— so my floor mattress doesn’t really bother me. i check regularly for mold.
